In this regard, registration system can be used as a powerful tool in disease monitoring, understanding the types of treatments and outcomes, testing effective factors in disease prediction and quality of life, describing care patterns such as care adequacy and care delivery differences, evaluating the effectiveness, and monitoring the safety, damage, and quality of care. In Iran, especially in the northwest of the country, significant steps have been taken in this field which could have important implications for the study design and planning of therapies in the future.
